Allinop Platform: User Workflow and Interface Documentation

1. Account Registration and Membership Tiers
Sign-up Options:
- Google Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Direct account creation via allinop.com
Required Information for Direct Sign-up:
- Full Name
- Username
- Email Address
- Password
Post-Registration Flow:
- Upon initial sign-up, users must select a membership tier:
- FREE: Limited number of active projects. Caps defined at allinop.com/pricing.
- PLUS: Unlimited projects for a single user. Caps defined at allinop.com/pricing.
- PRO: Includes all PLUS features with access to a global dashboard aggregating tasks, docs, and links across all projects.
Note: Membership tier governs the cap on active project participation—defined as any project where the user is either an admin or a member.
2. User Homepage: Projects Dashboard
Upon login, users are directed to the Projects Page, listing all projects they administrate or participate in.
Key Functions:
- View current projects.
- Identify available project slots based on membership tier.
- Create new projects via the “New Project” call-to-action (CTA) button.
- Upgrade or downgrade membership tier.
Project Slot Management:
- Removing project memberships releases a slot.
- Membership upgrades unlock higher slot limits.
3. Primary Navigation Menu
Components:
- Notifications Icon: Displays updates related to the user’s projects and account activity, including:
- New tasks
- Document edits
- Forum activity
- Connection requests
- Project invitations
- Invite a Friend Icon: Opens a form with the following fields:
- Recipient’s Email
- Optional Personal Message
- Sender’s personal message
- Sender’s public profile URL on Allinop
- Invitation link to join allinop.com
- Allinop does not expose member or project directories publicly.
- Users must know a contact’s profile URL to send connection requests.
- “Invite a Friend” facilitates this by sharing one’s profile URL securely.
- User Account Icon (Far Right): Dropdown menu includes:
- Profile Settings
- Account Membership Settings
- Connections List
- Logout
4. Project Creation Flow
Triggers:
- First login: Black “New Project” CTA visible if no projects exist.
- Anytime: “New Project” button in the Projects Page toolbar.
Two-Step Process:
- Project Details:
- Title
- Short Description
- Invite Connections (Optional):
- Select from existing connections to add them as project members.
- Only available to project admins.
5. Project Workspace Tools
Each project includes a fixed set of functional tabs:
a. Forum
- Single-topic discussion board.
- All project members can post and reply.
b. Tasks
- Lightweight task management interface.
- Admins can:
- Create tasks (title, description).
- Mark tasks as complete.
- Members can:
- View tasks.
Features:
- Search bar
- Dropdown filters
c. Docs
- Project documentation workspace.
- Admin-only for creating and editing documents.
- Members have read-only access.
- Rich text editor limited to essential formatting (tables, print option).
d. Links
- Curated list of relevant online resources.
- Admins can add, edit, or delete links.
- Members have read-only access.
6. Project Management Controls
Accessible via Manage Dropdown Menu within each project:
- Profile Settings
- Account Membership Settings
- Connections List
- Global Dashboard (PRO members only)
- Delete Project (Admin-only)
7. Connection Request Workflow
Sending a Connection Request:
- Requires knowing the recipient’s profile URL.
- Visit profile URL and send request.
Receiving a Connection Request:
- Users receive a notification icon alert.
- Accept or reject requests via the Notifications panel or Connections List.
8. Platform Rules and Privacy Considerations
- No public member or project directories are visible on Allinop.
- Connection requests require prior knowledge of a user’s profile URL.
- Invite a Friend function serves as the official channel for user discovery and connection building.
- Admin control is strictly enforced over sensitive project resources (tasks, docs, links).

9. Security and Compliance Notes
- Passwords are securely hashed and stored.
- No member or project data is publicly visible without explicit user action.
- Allinop is aligned with GDPR principles regarding data minimization and user consent management.
